My thanks, congratulations and praise for all the actors who made this project a reality. Special thanks to SJ for his promotional savvy and for the groovy widget. Additional thanks to him, JohnB, Holy Cannoli, Pjazzypar, Boneman, Foam, Ricardo, Foam and Yinyang for posting the series in whole or part, and Ravi Khanna for posting the widget. No matter what, no one can say we couldn't do this.

Just kidding.

My camera can do video too so yeah movie can be done!
It was great to be part of The GG. As for marketing savvy let's say this has a cult following instead of mass appeal ;)
When a friend of mine begged to have the last episode ahead of schedule since he didn't wnat to wait till monday I think we made an impression!

Very cool! Well done by everyone. Amazing consistency throughout.

SJ, I did think about that. As for the cult appeal, I think that would be everything in this age of micro-marketing. Anyway, I'm glad you had friends who liked it and who enjoyed your Facebook Ganesh page. That was really cool of you to do that.
Charles, glad to have you as an audience from beginning to end. On behalf of the gang, I thank you.

X: I had a smashing time both as a participant and a listener. I am so up for doing this again. In fact, I am thinking of podcasting my bus posts starting with the first from June 22, 2005 as a sort of practice for "throwing the voice" for a hopeful next go around.
Anyway, many thanks to you for putting it all together; no mean feat.

Well, John, I'll look forward to your podcast. As for doing this again, I won't say it's out of the realm of possibility, but we'll see after some time as past.
Thanks for the compliment, but it really took all of us to do this.
Yup, Ricardo, it's a wrap. Seems, though, we're missing out on the traditional cast party.
Can't have everything, I guess.

Man, am I behind schedule on this one. Just listened to chapters 1-7. I've now downloaded all of them so now I can listen to the rest in a couple of sittings.
Since I'm so far behind I'll pass along my comments via email.

Hey all of you-excellent job! I am ready for the movie now!:) Definitely agree with Charles Gramlich -hate to see it end. What a fantastic way to talk about a very serious subject by using humor!! Thanks for your replies to my comments BTW Xdell-and again everyone was splendid and I will listen from beginning again very soon more episodes at a time-thanks very much!!

This really was a blast!
I'm kicking myself for not joining in on this.

Hey, Benjibopper, welcome back to the web. Hope you like the story+. We enjoyed putting it on.
Anonymous, welcome to the X-Spot. There is some truth in what you're supposing. But no, there are no missing Ganesh statues running around, from what I can tell:-)

I am reading what you put there red faced and deeply ashamed as not having been here for so long and still having to catch up on your latest (brilliant) episodes.
I am on my brand new Mac. Am still having to get used to it as it is a strange feeling to have such an super de luxe shining new machine. I promise to listen soon.
We are also cleaning up and putting much better sound effects on the earlier episodes. A much energy consuming work. Having said that we will have to redo episode one as it is a mess. It's much better as it was but still a mess compared to your work.
Also X could you send me the you know what? I'm very busy with writing Md and need to see (not to mention that I'm dying to see it) what's what.
I still don't have an entourage e-mail address. It seems that the pop up service is slowly fading out. It's a devil of a job to get one. So, just send it to David and we go from there.
Much obliged and loads of love and thank yous

Monique, not a problem. Sometimes I get so busy that I have to listen to a couple of MD episodes at a time. Thanks for the kind words, but I thoroughly enjoyed episode 1 in its original form, and I've always thought highly of your production standards. You've given Middle Ditch a very palpable feel in each and every episode, and its style and tone are reminiscent of one of the all-time great American radio dramas, Vic and Sade.
I've sent you a rough draft of the "what's what," and will await to see what you think of it. I'll be curious to see how MD sounds with the FX. Happy MacIng (how I envy you).
Pjazypar, don't forget your own role in this, which was quite substantial. You know, I wrote the part of the Captain as a male, but after listening to you in the role, I'm revising it as a female role. I can't imagine us having a better senior officer.
Hey, Sam, I'm happy you finally got a chance to hear your handiwork. I was cautious about listing you under the new name because I didn't want anyone abusing the link--you know what I mean. But now that you given me permission, I will....eventually (my computer's been out of commission for the past month).
I'm pretty sure everyone enjoyed your performance as much as I did, and I really enjoyed working with you--your voiceprint, at least--on this. Your scene analyses were amazing.
Most important, though, I'm hoping you're feeling better these days.

Understood :-) In my case, the danger has passed. I finally shook the N.S stalker woman thing and my exhub lost his internet connection.
They won't trace me through my friends because thankfully they weren't smart enough to copy my links before I vanished. I drop my *old* name here & there, in places where I'm pretty sure they couldn't end up ;-)
I had fun helping with this, I'm sorry my Canadian accent leaves a bit to be desired, I took elocution :-P

Case closed. That was smashing. Because my computer is right next door to our living quarters, David and I could listen to the last episodes during our lunch, instead of sitting in office chairs by his computer upstairs. A very enjoyable lunch indeed.
Many congratulations X.Dell. You have done a great job. I couldn't have done this.
Well done to your cast. Wonderful distinctive voices.
And, let's not forget the great Pinetop Swamp who did a grand job as the announcer.
More?

Congratulations on a wonderful production. I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to the entire production.
I particularly admired the range of voices, which makes for great listening, and the considerable work of writing, producing and editing. The sound effects are superb and the whole thing just works so well. I loved it. Well done everyone involved.
Onwards to the next production!

Libby, glad you came by, and happy to know you enjoyed it. If nothing else, we got to know what SJ sounds like.
Sam, you didn't just help, you had a leading role. And don't worry about the accent. Nobody will know you're from Georgia.
Monique, thanks for the kind words, although I'll stick up for Middle Ditch any time. Pinetop Swamp did indeed do a great job, and I was happy he did it. I hope he had fun. As for doing this again, we'll have to see about that. Ganesh has just about devoured my tiny little hard drive.
David, welcome to The X-Spot. Thank you so much for the kind words, and for being an audience. We had a good group, and with some patience we got to see this through to the end (touch and go for months, there).
