Hehe:-) Charles! I wonder if he had his trusty copy of "Catcher in the Rye" with him? This looks like an interesting series Xdell-can't wait to see more-all the best!!

Sorry to leave a multiple comment so fast. After getting some rest I was able to read through the first article more carefully (great comments also!) I had never heard of the "Little Richard" info and some of the other stuff. Lennon definitely seems like one of those people that were either loved or hated by many. The Beatles were slightly before my time. I think -someone correct me if I am wrong-that Lennon's last album was "Double Fantasy"? Whatever the name of the last album was I enjoyed some of the tracks I heard on the radio-didn't buy it though. Years ago I heard Yoko Ono say in an interview that the last year he was alive Lennon was trying to spend and do a lot of things with his son-the way she put it -it was sort of like he had a feeling he wasn't going to be around much longer. all the best!!

Charles, it has everything a young man can enjoy. You can even hang out with all the boys.

Devin, to answer your question, Chapman did have Catcher in the Rye on him when he shot at Lennon. The Milk And Honey Album was released in 1984, if memory serves. But Double Fantasy was the last album Lennon released during his life.

Of course, it's not how one might individually perceive Lennon to be, but what he symbolized to those who liked him, and those who didn't.

Foam, the only place that is not extant is the Waikiki Counseling Clinic.

SJ, I recommend 72nd St. Lots of great restaurants, a dramatic bookstore where I bought a lot of my screenwriting books, and so much more. The Dakota is also something worth viewing. It's considerably more beautiful and majestic than you can see from a photograph.

Thanks for anwering the comments as you always do Xdell!! I think -and this is just me-but it seems that Lennon was one of those "lightning rod" type people that are either loved or hated-do you know why it seems almost everyone on the planet despises Yoko? or anyone-just asking cause I am curious:-) best to you and everybody here as always!!

Devin, methinks the demonization of Yoko Ono is in part racist, in larger part sexist, and in some part an old belief that she broke up the Beatles. Over the years, she has not felt inclined (rightfully so, IMHO) to sway people to her side. She's really someone who could use a good PR assistant.

    Emphasis on good.

Hi, just noticed you left out an address. Chapman was said by police to be residing at 55 S. Kukui Street in Honolulu at the time he shot Lennon.

Ok, Bluejay. So noted. I'll have to see which police department determined that, and if this was Rev. Anderson's address (which I did mention later in the series, but didn't give a street address for).
